Swedish Massage

Our classic massage is based on the ubiquitous Swedish massage and uses gentle to medium pressure strokes to relax and revive your muscles, release tension and leave you feeling invigorated and relaxed.

Swedish massage is one of the most popular treatment styles offered all over Europe. In terms of pressure, Swedish massage sits at the light to medium end of the pressure spectrum.

If you have never had a massage before or you feel like an overall relaxing session then our classic massage is one of the best choices.

Deep Tissue Massage

An essential treatment to help restore health. Your therapist will use deeper pressure massage techniques are focused on specific muscle groups. A deep tissue massage can help ease pain, strengthen and tone muscles, and result in you feeling more supple and rejuvenated.
 
Is deep tissue massage painful?
 
From the various types of massage therapy that are available, this is one that may leave you feeling a little sore the day after. The pain should not be too uncomfortable either during the treatment or after and the soreness is simply a side effect of toxins being worked out of your body.

Relaxing Massage

The main focus of a relaxation massage is to de-stress, calm and relax the mind and body. It’s a less specific form of physical therapy than remedial massage in regards to pain relief, but is still very therapeutic especially with the busy lives we live today, as it is great at relieving the stress that is held in the body and the mind. This massage style aids with your mental and emotional health, as it calms the mind and settles the nervous system. Relaxation massage provides a general loosen up, encourages blood flow throughout the body, and helps boost the immune system by stimulating the lymphatics.

Lomi Lomi Massage

Lomi Lomi massage, also known as loving hands massage,  is a traditional Hawaiian massage that combines massage techniques, nut oils, breathing and dance to soothe the body. It is based on the Huna philosophy and how it is related to our bodies work and its healing process.
 
“Lomi is a Hawaiian name. It means to knead, rub, soothe, and work in and out like the paws of a contented cat. Repeating the word “Lomi” for emphasis shows how special it is.”

Head Massage

A head massage feels fabulous. In addition to the sensory pleasure it offers, a head massage may ease symptoms of a headache, reduce stress, and possibly boost hair growth, too.
 
This type of head massage is often used to release tension, ease migraine and headache pain, reduce stress and promote relaxation.
 
Head, scalp, neck, face massage uses gently techniques to clear blockages and provide relief from stress and anxiety whilst bringing a general sense of calm to the environment around you.

Foot Massage

If your feet are aching after a long day, a foot massage can give you much-needed relief. But it doesn’t just feel good. Research shows that it has health benefits, too. Even a brief foot massage can ease stress and perk you up.

A foot massage increases the circulation in your feet and helps your blood and lymph systems carry away toxins. The very process of a foot massage sends messages to the rest of your body to relax. Massaging the feet targets the rest of the body, too. Reflexology therapy helps correct imbalances in the body by stimulating specific areas of your feet. And proper and targeted stimulation of the feet can ease tension all over your body, especially your legs and lower back.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is a significantly different style of massage to all the others mentioned here. It often surprises the unacquainted as it is quite an extreme treatment.
 
Cupping Therapy is the use of specialized cups that are made out of thick round lipped durable thick plastic. Using these cups the practitioner creates a vacuum on the tissue usually in areas on the body that have a layer of muscle. This creates suction which secures the cup in place on the specific tissue leaving circular red marks on the skin that usually stay there for a few days, disappearing after approximately a week. The suction cup stays on the tissue for 5-20 minutes to get the full effect of the treatment.

Magnesium Oil Massage

Any post-workout pain can be dramatically alleviated by spraying magnesium oil directly on the pain and rubbing it in, helping you recover faster. 
 
Essential for good health, instantly relieving sore muscles, leg cramps, headaches, migraines, and various body aches. 
 
Provides faster relief for exercise-induced inflammation and promotes cell turnover, whilst encouraging an improved immune response.
 
Magnesium oil is ideal because it is more rapidly absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream, elevating low or depleted levels of magnesium much more quickly into your body than pills or supplements.
